VRW (Vocabulary-Reading-Writing): 5th-12th
Students will build vocabulary, learn comprehension skills and strategies to read, understand and retain information. Critical reading materials also include science, social studies and other cross-curricular non-fictions. Writing skills will introduce different forms and the process of writing. Prep for SAT/ACT.
Each level contains 300 vacabularies grouped in similar topics and necessary activities to enforce weekly vocabulary studies. Each unit also includes writing activities which require the students to use the newly learned vocabularies. This requirement encourages students to view and review until they can actually use them in their own writing making them own the words.
